Hatoko Kobayashi (小林 鳩子 Kobayashi Hatoko) is a supporting character of Angelic Layer, and the deus of Suzuka.
Profile[]
Hatoko Kobayashi is a kindergartener and the younger sister of Kotaro Kobayashi, as well as one of Misaki Suzuhara's best friends.
Physical Appearance[]
Hatoko is a young girl with purple eyes, and waist-length midnight blue hair, the bangs of which frame her face. Her school uniform resembles a red and white sailor outfit with a red hat. Clasping the shirt is a golden pin shaped like the Piffle Princess logo.
Personality[]
Hatoko is a mature girl but is very sensitive when it comes to losing; when she lost to Shirahime, she told Misaki that she didn't have enough power so she and Misaki promised that Hikaru would beat Shirahime and prove height and age doesn't matter at all but getting defeated by Athena was to be expected.
Story[]
Hatoko is the only deus who has beaten Misaki at Angelic Layer. Hatoko was supposed to be Misaki's second during the national games, but due to a summer cold, Ohjiro Mihara had to fill that role during Misaki's battle with SI-174. Hatoko was very sensitive after she lost to Shirahime but she knew it was to be expected to lose to Athena. She couldn't keep her promise to Misaki to see her at the National Games and instead became her second.
